was it the original 6.5 or the newer block they put in military spec humvees. Ive heard the original had a tendency to crack and leak like crazy.
Im a diesel nut i would love a 93-96 ford with a cummins in it ...

Re: tinting lights
which is what i was asking i dont want to tint the outside lense and i never inteded to lessen the output of the light if it did i would take the tinting away or put in a brighter bulb such as an H.I.R. bulb but i think were all getting off topic here and just uselessly bickering

in my state (new hampshire) 99.99% of the time if u are hit from behind it is automaticly considered the person who hit yous fault. I have been on the *shoot* end of that involving some deer and an idiot who thought stoping on a highway is a good idea

With all due respect the point of customizing a car is to make it something you like so you don't have to like it its not your car1993 sle wrote:i just never understood why you would want to reduce your visability.

check the ground on the amp, although id recommend replacing that amp with an aftermarket amp to get the best sound quality anyway

Re: tinting lights
You're missing my point. If you use VHT NightShades, you will be darkening the plastic lens COVERING the internal plastic on the lamp. The F-150, as well as the Bonneville, has black internal plastic. The lens on the F-150 is NOT tinted.
Not sure how you can get any darker than black.
Ok I get ...

they are dark but i dont think they are as dark as the fords lights but i wasnt planing on black them out just a light tint same with the tails. But i may buy a extra set of headlights just to test it out and see if its something i want to do or not

Re: tinting lights
the police are generally don't bug you to much unless u drive like a ricer and even when they do they usualy just give you a warning about it. But yeah i just want them slightly darker deff not so much darker that the police would give it a second look
