Re: 4T65E Shift Kit
I have the TransGo shift kit still in the package that I never got to put in my Bonneville before I traded her in for my Sonic. If your interested, I can sell it to you cheaper than you can get it on Amazon or anywhere else. I have no use for it any more and just want to get rid of it. Send me a PM ...

Re: 2012 Sonic
Thanks guys! I can't wait to get a nice set of rims on her. Hopefully in the next month or so I will be able to make that happen.
I agree about the bottom grille....what bothers me (and most Sonic owners) the most is the "mustache" where the front plate gets mounted. There is a guy on the Sonic ...

Re: 2012 Sonic
When I was looking into getting a Sonic, the Turbo and manual were must haves for me. Its really a fun car and is surprisingly quick for such a little hatchback!

Re: 2012 Sonic
I've been getting around 28-30ish with mostly city driving and some hoonage. I'm pretty sure that they were designed over in GM's Studio in Korea, but they are built in the U.S at the Orion Plant. Apparently its the only car in it's class built here.

2012 Sonic
Hey guys, last week I reluctantly traded in the Bonneville  But I did pick up the 2012 Sonic I discussed in my thread in the General forum. So far I've been loving this thing! She's a lot more of a car you would expect by looking at her. Its been pretty fun to learn to drive a manual as well ...

Re: Going to have to give her up
Thanks for the feedback guys. Thats what I thought, never really dealt with installing or removing an aftermarket system before so just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking anything!

Re: Going to have to give her up
The car is going to be traded in, and from what the salesman was telling me, she will most likely go to auction. So I'm not concerned about how sellable the car is. Plus the Bonneville came with the aftermarket audio equipment in it already, so I don't have the stock head unit or anything.

Re: Going to have to give her up
I do have one question for you guys though. I'm probably going to take my subs from the Bonneville and either sell them or put one in the Sonic. Should I bother grabbing the amps as well or is it not worth it?

Re: Going to have to give her up
Trust me, I was very specific in looking for the 1.4T and 6speed manual combo. Really wouldn't want the car any other way.
Turbojon, I agree that the Cruize isn't nearly as appealing. Wouldn't even consider it. Thats a sharp looking Sonic you had though. Love that color and the 17s. Unfortunately ...

Re: Going to have to give her up
I wish I could keep the Bonneville longer (and had planned on it), but not really having the time to do any repairs myself or having any of the right tools makes it hard to justify holding onto the car much longer. With my bent rim causing a ton of vibration on the highway, UIM, LIM, airbag sensor ...

Going to have to give her up
Hey guys,
I know I haven't been on here for too long and haven't been super active, but I wanted to share that within the next week or so I will no longer be a Bonneville owner... With all the work that needs to be done to her and the fact that I'm commuting 30+ miles per day for school, I've ...

Re: Front Bumper
I'll have to talk to my body guy about it after I get out of school for the semester. In the case that he cant do anything about it for a good price, does Andrew still part out cars on his Bonnevilles Unlimited website?

Re: Front Bumper
So I've been extremely busy the last week or so, so sorry that I haven't had a chance to update with pictures. Here's the extent of the damage though. From afar its not super noticeable, but it bugs me nonetheless. Does it seem like looking into getting it plastic welded would still be the best ...

Re: Front Bumper
I'll try to snap a couple pictures today. Paint is surprisingly fine, just a couple of cracks Id like to fix. I will definitely look into plastic welding, I've never even heard of the best process before! Definitely appreciate the input!

Front Bumper
Hey guys, probably a pretty stupid question, bare with me as I don't really know much about body/paint work.
So inevitably where I drive into the city for school almost every day now, the Bonneville has gotten some more scratches and minor front bumper cracking than I would like... Is it easy ...

Re: Some updated pictures of my car
A little late to the party I know, but wow, that is a sharp looking car! The rims look really nice, and I love the retrofit headlights. Carl, any chance you are still doing retrofits for people?

Oops...
The other night I was driving home from school. Earlier in the afternoon it had snowed and the roads were a little slicker than usual, which wasn't really a problem. I had learned to drive in New England weather basically, so a little snow and ice isn't a big deal to me. Most of the main roads were ...
