Exhaust shop looked at it and said not CAT, nothing stuck under car or anything. Smell starts after about 5min after warm up every time. This has been going ...

Put her in gear the other day and the black button you push on the Automatic shifter to switch gears came flying out. Called stealer and what do you know there's no button/knob available, - the whole thing needs to be exchanged as a unit. Any suggestions of a do it yourself fix? All I would need is ...

Re: Smell from exhaust pipes
Usually the cat smells for a short time after being replaced. Make sure there is nothing caught under the car (grosery bag etc.) that may be caught up on the exhaust. Check over the back of the engine and make sure nothing is touching the rear manifold (although you would expect to smell it in the ...

Anyone tried their TB for the L36? Seems the HV3 will only benefit IF cam and Springs and Rockers are installed. Don't want to do all this right now and am wondering if the TB is a better quicker bang for the buck?

Louder horns?
I have a 2005 SLE and the horns sound like old people's car horns. I checked them and they both work. Was just wondering if there's another set of horns out there that is louder and better sounding. I do want to stay with a direct bolt on, maybe GM application without having to mod or drilling holes ...

Re: Oil Pressure Gauge pegged hot
Easy fix. Just replace the sender unit down by your oil filter. Remember to get a GM replacement! They run around $35.J-ROD wrote:As the subject says the oil pressure gauge is pegged to the hot side. This started Wednesday. Any thoughts or ideas as to what this might be would be appreciated. Thanks.
