Yup that's what I did, I did them both, NAPA had both lines for under 50.00...chgd the fitting to, found one of my fan wires routed under the tranny line worn almost thru ! Fixed that..all look dry...Thx

trouble is the end by the radiator is real rusty right up to the fitting...Im heading to the junk yard today to see If I can get one...wish it was the upper there is more room

2000 Lesabre leaking rusted lower tranny line...whats the easiest fix ? Cut the line and use rubber hose and clamps ??
The new line is like 20.00 but how hard are these to chg

Nope and Nope...the rod need to be longer not shorter to make the compressor come on

Ok just took off the toggle switch and went back to stock circuit breaker/fuse...only problem is the compressor comes on and pumps up but id like it to pump a few inches higher and there doesn't seem to be ANY adjustment on the rod ??

well for the last 50k miles I have had a toggle switch wired in because the compressor wouldn't shut off...:)
So I think the compressor is shot and the shocks are shot and I only use it for a winter rat..I was rearended by some idiot on her cell ph...they totaled the car but gave me 3800.00 for it ...

the replacement shocks I see on epay look like they have springs on them too

my 2000 Lesabre with 200k on It,,,the air shocks are not holding air, they are original...how hard to chg to regular shocks ?? And which to buy

I did the spark plug non fouler mod to the rear 02 sensor,,,light has been off for almost 200 miles

CEL came on today, scanner says above code,,,car has 195k on it...how do I know IF its the convertor or the 02 sensor ??

start the car, leave it running and jack up the right side front of the car as high as you can and let me know if you hear the noise...let me know if you do and ill tell you what it is

ok all the sudden now my horn doesn't blow when doors are locked with remote,,,lights still flash,,,horn works fine otherwise...ideas ??

Cousin of mine has a 2002 Firebird,,,55k miles,,,last week while driving she heard a "tick,tick,tick" under the hood then the car stopped,,,could start...took it to a local big box store (Monroe?)....they told her the power steering pump seized, and it sheered all the bolts holding it to the block ...

Ive noticed this a few times....if sitting idling when warm n park, then put into gear, you feel it go into gear, step normal on the gas and it seems to start to move a little then a bang and it takes off...
Car has almost 200k,,,,just using as a winter rat....would a can of Lubegard Red help ??

yea well it went to 60 and didn't come on...so I guess like last year I need to recharge...last spring I added 2 cans of r134 and a can of dye,,,never could find the leak,,,
The car is just my winter rat now so I may just recharge for warm winter days,,,

done....I bought that pump...worked good,,,still a messy job....broke the neck off the old filter up in the tranny,,,got it out,,,,took about 7 qts,,,man what came out was brown !!
