HELP ASAP ! leaking lower tranny line

HELP ASAP ! leaking lower tranny line

2000 Lesabre leaking rusted lower tranny line...whats the easiest fix ? Cut the line and use rubber hose and clamps ??
The new line is like 20.00 but how hard are these to chg

Cut off both ends just past the swaged fittings. Use proper reinforced hose, slide hose onto tubing as far as required and use TWO hose clamps on each end to clamp the hose to the tubing. The two clamps will prevent the hose from slipping off since there are no "barbs" to grab the iD of the hose.

trouble is the end by the radiator is real rusty right up to the fitting...Im heading to the junk yard today to see If I can get one...wish it was the upper there is more room

I would replace the line to spec with metal - sure its a pita but you have no worries after. if you remove all the suff in the way, it will be easier but longer

Yup that's what I did, I did them both, NAPA had both lines for under 50.00...chgd the fitting to, found one of my fan wires routed under the tranny line worn almost thru ! Fixed that..all look dry...Thx
