Coolant elbow question

Post by Bichselmnop »

I'm getting ready to do my valve cover gaskets and was wondering how much coolant I'm going to lose when I pull out my tensioner. I'm planning on replacing the elbows already so it doesn't matter if I break them, I'm just wondering how much I'm going to spill before I start.

drain the coolant before you start to keep the mess down. I'd drain about a gallon to start.
