:dontknow:

I knew I had a stuck open thermostat by the low temp on the gauge and I confirmed by using the scanner at oreillys but I didn’t immediately change it. A week after my car stalled while driving. I got it back home & changed the thermostat but it continued to stall and would only start if I had the petal to the floor and then would immediately die again. Then something drained my battery. I had it tested and it had a bad cell so I replaced it. The car did not start at all after so I replaced the alternator. It now starts without having to put it to the floorboard but still stalls. I bought a scanner but it will not link to my car so I tested with a multimeter and it does have the correct voltage. Then I checked every fuse and every relay. Since nothing seemed off there I took the ECU out and unplugged it, found my cars pinout diagram and tested everything. I found that my high fan speed pin shows 12.5 volts when the car is off. I unplugged all the associated relays to see if it would go away and it didn’t. I inspected the wires from the fuse box to the edu plug and found nothing so I just cut the wire to see if the car would start normally without. It’s started normal and I wanted to let it run to be sure but the engine started revving itself and stalled again like it has been. I’ve tried unplugging the sensors but it doesn’t change anything. I don’t know what to look for next other than texting the grounds but I’ve only found two and I can’t find anything that tells where all of them might be. I don’t think I need a whole new pcm only because I’m hoping that this issue is the same reason I can’t figure out why my ac stopped working last summer and why for the last 3 years the headlights seem to burn out one after another but of course those could be unrelated and I’m just a horrible mechanic please help!
