HUD Failure

Post by Pair of SSEI »

HUD {Heads Up display) is blank this morning. I can hear the motor running when I change its position on windshield, so I do not think it is the fuse or location on windshield. What should be my next step?

I'm not sure where you go from here, but if you need to replace the HUD, I have one out of my old 93 SSE I can send to you for cheap. Assuming the 93 unit is interchangeable with your 97.

Going to remove and try to solder cold joint. "Internet suggestion". But will keep your offer in mind.

I'm pretty sure the HUD's are different from 93 and 97. 97 being all digital and 93 being analog or cable driven?

I know 92 height was controlled with a cable.
