Blower motor resistor/control module.

Post by CHRIS904 »

I have 98 ECC Bonneville. I need a new blower motor controller. What years can I take one from the junkyard? Can they be fixed? Looks like they got a lot of screws. Maybe it's just a resistor?

The manual climate control option used just a resistor, the electronic climate control uses a module. Here is the interchange. They are about $140 new on RockAuto

OLDSMOBILE LSS 1997-1999

Wow only used for a few years. Trying to avoid that kind of money but it looks like I can't. O well.
