Headlight hir?

Post by Slartibartfasr »

I am wanting to get better lighting in my GXP and keep running into the term “HIR” for the high beams, but have not found an explanation of exactly what that means. I am thinking of going to LEDs since they worked so well in my FIAT 500. I have read whatever posts that came up in a search and am still confused, so any help is appreciated.

HIR are a special bulb, but any modern LED will be brighter.
