I am Ron, new member. please help me with my 1990 bonneville, inherited. Running rough.....134,000. A little sign of gas in the throttle body. new ignition module and plugs. plugs turned black with carbon and wants to die. Any ideas?.....Thanks!

Gas in the intake? Probably a failed fuel pressure regulator. Pull the vacuum line off it and see if there is gas in it. There shouldn't be. If there is, replace it ASAP. That fuel can cause a big backfire and break things and set off a fire.

It could also be a leaky injector. Is one spark plug more fouled than the rest?

Would anyone be interested in buying my 1990 bonneville.Trying to find time in my schedule. 134,000 miles,inherited. It ran perfect before sitting for a year, and idles rough. It couldnt be anything bad. Email me for more info and a pic....ronald.cochran2236@gmail.com
