Overheating...fans not coming on

Weird bunch of events after an oil change....I've had an overheating problem for about a month, did the oil and figured that would do it. It didn't, but I discovered that the fans weren't turning on and thermostat was bad so I changed that and the coolant temp sensor just in case. Started it, and now the water pump is spraying, and the fans still aren't turning on unless I run the AC. Going to replace the water pump soon, but what could be making the fans not work? Could it be a fuse issue?
Will check this out and report back....
