How can the Aux input for CD changer be converted to USB?

How can the Aux input for CD changer be converted to USB?

Post by 2000SE »

It is a 2000 SLE. The factory head unit has the CD/Tape button.

Is there an adapter that can plug into the Aux input that will permit USB input?

There's usb-c to 3.5mm adapters. Lots of them on Amazon.

A 3.5mm adapter will plug into the AUX CD port? Is there an AUX CD port?

The easiest thing to do is to use a Bluetooth cassette. You can't really add aux to this radio without cracking it open and doing some soldering.

I guess I'm not familiar with the newer radios. I thought aux port meant a 3.5mm plug.

I'm going to recommend a receiver that has an fm modulator. There are many out there with USB inputs and Bluetooth. Then just tune the radio the the right frequency.
