While I am happy my '84 Pontiac passed the safety certification, after months of doing electrical work, and welding.
The car is in storage for winter, the 305 I am going to rebuild.
And lucky for me, I found another vehicle that I was surprised to see here in Canada.
Numbers matching, 1988 Chevrolet Caprice. This vehicle was owned by a mechanic, who had owned it since 2004. He was the 2nd owner, which was nice given Bonnie had several owners before myself.
225,000KM on the 305, and it has the TH-2004R transmission. This thing, goes from 0-60 VERY fast. Not sure how, given the mileage, and stock parts, but I love it!
A few interesting quirks with it, thanks to the seller having some honesty.
1. The AC and Smog Pump has been removed.
2. The heat shield in the car makes noise.
3. A body mount is done due to rust.
4. Trunk has a small hole due to rust.
5. Horn didn't work, due to a bad relay, and fuse box damage due to aging.

Thats cool! I had an 89 Caprice. I loved how there was a little light under the dash that was on all the time to shine on the light switch.
