My '89 SSE is running great now, but I still have yet to fix the seat where it is torn (on the side bolster where it's easy to rub on it getting in). No one here can fix my seat, I know, but I'd like to maintain all the rest of it to last as long as possible. I know some parts of the seat are leather and some parts are vinyl. Leather needs neatsfoot oil or other leather dressing. Vinyl needs plasticizer or vinyl dressing. The vinyl is such a good match both in feel and appearance that I can't tell for sure which some panels are made of. I'd like to treat them correctly. Even the headrests feel like they are all leather, but I doubt they are.
Any one able to help me out here? Any sources of info? I have a factory shop manual, and it has nothing to say about it.
Thanks in advance.
