Wifes New Ride: 07' Trailblazer SS

So today we went and got the wife a baby hauler. We're expecting our first child in July and a SUV was in order. I also needed something that can pull a trailer every now and then. So the SS fit the bill perfect! Has 82k on it and is fully loaded. Has PCM4Less tune, Electric fans, and SLP Powerflo exhaust. We sold her 05' GTP to my dad so its still in good hands.

Thanks, appreciate it. The wife is in love now haha. All in all, it rides really nice and has some decent upgrades. She is easy on vehicles so I expect this to last quite awhile.

Also pics came up for me today, I see the navi AND digital HVAC (two options, as well as sunroof, that I would want on any I would buy), and I see the previous owner did the proper thing and put duals on it. This is one of the dumb things GM did making it just exit on the right.

Thanks everyone. I will say I had a little influence on getting a SS lol. The wife did want something sporty since she was used to the GTP. She's a woman that knows what she wants, but aren't they all? haha. I love the SLP exhaust and definitely prefer it over the stock single outlet. Has a little rumble when you get on it but isn't obnoxious. Only thing it needs is the AC serviced. PO replaced the compressor, accumulator, and hoses with GM replacements but didn't get around to getting it serviced.

Spent most of today cleaning the truck and plasti-dipping the wheels black. All in all happy with the results. The original coating was cracked/scratched so not really a big deal to us.

In due time haha. I've had 2 sets in my time and was never pleased with them. Still got some tread left on them so we're going to ride them out.

Driving on a slick on ice is a better option than RS-A's. How Goodyear was legally allowed to sell that tire due to it's poor performance and ratings without lawsuits is beyond me. This applies to the RS-A you have, not the new one they just rolled out.

Spent the day painting the calipers. I think its going to look pretty good once I get the truck detailed and get a sunny day. I know I painted the fronts of the pads but they need replaced soon anyways so wasn't really worried about it. Also snapped a few pics of the Hotchkis sway bar, SLP muffler, and rear Belltech shocks.

Got the wifes windows tinted and truck cleaned up for mothers day. Starting to feel more and more like our (Her) vehicle. Going to buff it out once the weather decides it wants to cooperate.

Got the trans cooler from PCM of NC installed today. Very happy with the quality of the kit and the install/instructions. Ran out of time for the servo install so that'll be next weekend.

Ordered a set of LED's from Pete466 and got them installed today. Good customer service and fast shipping.

Thanks, we both really like the difference between the two. Gives the truck more of a modern feel IMO. Although it's 9 years old it doesn't feel like it when driving it.
