How shot is my Transmission
Rolling down the highway all of a sudden she fell out of gear as if I shifted into neutral. Pulled to the side of the road, fluid level is good, managed to limp to the nearest off ramp and call Triple A. As I was limping I'd try to get her up to speed and it just kept slipping out no matter if I put it in D, 2 or 1, reverse isn't working either. But she will drive for a few hundred feet before going limp. Mind you she's @ 294,000 and when I bought her 5 years ago it was for $700. What are your recommendations?
