Stability system active

Post by marlonmathews13 »

Hey you guys kinda new to the site, been looking for a while but decided to sign up because now I have a problem of my own now..... So I bought a new rack and pinion had it installed, but now sometimes when I make a tight/hard turn either left or right, it feels and sound like something is trying to stop me from turning and yu here a noise like it's rubbing against something, the stability system active pops up on my dash as well as the low traction light, but as I straightening it up it stop and drive fine, I just wanna know why tho???

You'll have to get it scanned with a tool that can read codes from that system. One possibility is that the steering positions sensor may have been damaged when the rack was removed. They may not have used enough care to keep the steering wheel stable.
