Drivers Info Center not responding,just scrolls non stop

Drivers Info Center not responding,just scrolls non stop

Okay been looking around for o er an hour so decided to just ask.

Our 2000 SSEI D.I.C. lights up but just scrolls through warnings non stop. Does not respond to oil reset as none of the buttons respond. Pushed buttons from every angle and pressure, nothing :dontknow:

I can try a hard reset but doubt that will fix it. As the worst case scenario does anyone have a link or experience replacing the whole unit? I have dealt with the bad wheel sensor lights (ABS,traction control, etc) but the Info Center advertizing how screwed up it is has crossed the line [-X

Anyone have a spare or suggestions?

Have you actually scanned the car to see if there are any codes? What warnings exactly is it displaying? Try disconnecting the control switches to see what happens.
