2001 Bose wiring diagram

This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

2001 Bose wiring diagram

Post by johnrich »

Does anyone have or know where I could obtain a wiring diagram? Have a number of questions. Are the wires from the radio high level? In other words could I attach a 5 channel
Amp
With high level inputs and run them direct to new speakers omitting the Bose amp
And speakers? Thus I am thinking 4 mid
Treble and sub woofer off from new amp. Any advice would be appreciated.

You need a line output converter to connect a different amp to the stock HU, and then run wires to the respective speakers you plan on amping. There isn't really a diagram to go with this process, you just need to tap into the speaker wires themselves. The 6X9s out back are a good starting point.
