Headlights 2005

Post by james1965 »

just wondering since my headlights are becoming fogged and look like cracked crystal when the lights are on if anyone has any input on the aftermarket replacements off Ebay? anyone ever buy them or have a link to any cooler looking ones? halos or ? I have polished out the fog about 1 time a year and they look fairly good however the cracked look is pretty bad when the light hits them. just looking for some input .

If they are just hazy they can be polished. Those tiny cracks, however, cannot be fixed. TYC makes a good set of aftermarket lights. There is nothing custom out there for these cars though. You'll have to make them on your own if you want halos or projectors.

Yep, i have polished them out a few years now.. they clean up fair, however with the lights on, it's like looking into cracked crystal. i see the set on ebay ( new ) aftermarket ones for $210 a set but did not know if anyone had experience with them.

I bought a pair of TYCs from Ebay. They look and function just fine.

Here's what I did with my '05's headlights. They still look just as good today.

When you finish restoring method, whichever method you use, just remember to keep them waxed.
