2003 SLE
Re: 2003 SLE
I had an 04 Olds Alero with that same issue. Happened after I got the car back from the body shop following an accident. I took it to a dealership to get looked at and they told me it was something to do with (now don't quote me on this) a "antilock sensor(s) that was going bad". Something to do with the brakes.
Now, on my SE Bonnie, my brake light & antilock lights would come on. I had to pull over and reset it by turning off and on the car. Last week I replaced my brakes(they were really bad) and now those lights have not come on ever since.
Good luck!

Re: 2003 SLE
The most common cause is a bad wheel speed sensor in the hub. However, there are other causes, too. The only way to know is to have it scanned with a scanner that can read abs codes.
*Gone, but not forgotten* - Black 2000 SSEi, HIR Headlights, Angel Eyes fogs, 3rd brake light overlay, hi-flo cat, 180 degree thermostat, HS 1.9 rockers, LSx yellow springs, Intense FWI, PCM, shift kit, push rods, and 3.4 Pulley. ZZP Power Log.

Yes what they said (previous comment)! I couldn't remember the name of the sensor, but that's what I had issues with, with my Alero.

Re: 2003 SLE
Does the Brake light come on when this happens as well? Also does this happen as soon as you start the car or after you start moving?

Do you have any way to scan the car?

Re: 2003 SLE
TechII scanner could tell you what's up. In my case, it was the EBCM.
