how to calibrate compass
I can't seem to figure out why the compass is always saying calibrate. If you first start it up it shows a direction and then a few seconds later it goes out and says calibrate..

Re: how to calibrate compass
The procedure should be in your owner's manual. I've tried it a few times and haven't got it to work though. I've got a sub in the trunk so that might be interfering with mine.

Re: how to calibrate compass
The manual is missing so I ordered one. Guess I'll wait till it shows. It's funny though that it says auto calibrating, guess not

Re: how to calibrate compass
To calibrate, hold in the "Mode" button for like 10 seconds until the compass display starts to spin. then you drive in a circle under 10mph until the display stops spinning.
In the manual, I think it says to turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and drive in circles like that, but I've found that the direction really doesn't matter.
