Jerry...........any idea who owns the G8, I guess I could ask Rob from Champion Motor but thought I would ask you first?

That G8 belongs to a fellow named Jordan, a local guy here who I see now and then. It made 635 rwhp last fall on stock internals before chunking a piston at the last track day we went to. At that time he ran mid 11's, but with absolutely no traction. Cayuga Test & Tune isn't particularly good on surface prep. I wanted to break into the 12's but could only muster a 13.2.

That created a little excitement down below.

How is the 6L80 holding up? Or did he have that bulletproofed too?

Higher stall, a tune, and a cooler, otherwise stock I believe. Still going (for now). I think his saving grace is the lack of traction.

Lack of traction is probably saving the entire driveline. The rubber hockey puck companion flange, diff, and rear half-shafts...
