Here we go again....

Post by jmusser218 »

Well, it's been a few months since I've replaced my lower intake gaskets. I thought everything had gone perfectly. I had noticed no problems with coolant or oil levels...until today. I went to check my oil and it was about twice as high up on the dipstick as it should be. Then I looked at the coolant overflow reservoir and it was only on the full cold mark even after the engine warmed up fully. I'm very confused because the oil is not milky at all and there is no milky oil in the bottom of the fill cap. The oil looks clean so I have no idea what is going on. Bonnie still feels sluggish and has an uneven idle, and I'm starting to get frustrated. Any help guys??

Upper intake manifold failure is possible. You could be burning coolant.
