GMC starter issues
My C3's starter is starting to act up. About 3 years ago it stopped working and I had to bang on it to get it going. Then it worked fine ever since until recently. The last week or so I've had to tap the starter multiple times to get the truck started. Anyone ever replaced a started on a 6.0L GM engine and are there any affordable rebuild kits that could be done to it? It appears it's just the solenoid getting stuck and that the starter motor itself still works just fine.
