engine cover opinions

How do you like a series 3 engine cover on a series two. I like it just need black valve covers. Couldn't beat the deal so i threw it on the bonnie.

That's a slick paint job on that engine cover!

However, I'm one who runs without an engine cover. They make an engine bay look nice, but they're also good at trapping heat, so I just go without.

I was going to say no, but when you put it that way....

In stock form, I prefer the later Series 2 engine cover myself.

^^^ Yes! I wanted to wire mesh my Series I cover.

But, then I just found out it was easier to remove and leave off!

Yeah, $32 is not bad, especially with that nice paint job. Of course, if you were ever worried about heat soak, you could keep the cover off, then put it on when it comes time to show the car off!

looks great to me. Thats that hydrographics job on there. I want to start my own hydrographics job on the side as well. They really look good on car parts. And for $32 you got a good deal. I love it! It wont saok up any more heat than the original factory part would anyways, hydrographics is just a thin paint coat, nothing more than really having a printer print on the part, then a thin coat of clear over it. so no worries there. Although like otheres said i would probably just put it on when you want to show it off. Not for heat or performance sake, but just too keep it looking great.
