Split from: Transmission shudders at 50mph

I experienced the low rpm in overdrive shudder when going up hill in my 95 Bonneville. Replaced ignition wires and it went away. Since then I've replaced plugs & wires a few months ago and now I'm experiencing a low rpm shudder in OD again occasionally. Can't imagine it being the wires again already.

Transmission shudders at 50mph

Post by SSEBonne4evr »

Mine does the shudder only when hot out, up a hill on the interstate.
Never been able to solve it completely but a trans cooler helped a lot.
Maybe one day I'll change out the wires and pugs again.
90 SSE Bonneville Sold but not forgotten.
