MAF sensor should be the first thing you look at. Just unplug it, if it goes away, that's your problem. You can try cleaning it but will most likely need to replace. If that isn't it, check coils and ICM next, people don't have luck with the testing of them, swapping will be the only sure fire way to determine ICM failure (I can send you a guaranteed good ICM if you need it, with all three coil packs for $50 plus shipping). If nothing from that, the next stop is Crank position sensor, this is by far the most difficult but still isn't too hard to do if you know your way around some tools. All three of these seem to be the major cause of this type of condition. Mine was a MAF. Make sure your CAT isn't plugged either, however this would throw a code saying that your CAT is below efficiency, or at least should. Diagnose what you can for free (MAF and CAT) before buying parts that you don't end up needing.

You may want to have the cat checked. A plugged cat will cause those symptoms.

Check for air leak in UIM. Mine had a hole under the bundle of wires on the right side.

Is that a shadow or is the gap bridged?

How many miles on the car and have the plugs been changed before?
