Rear rotor X-referencing...

Talk about modifications, or anything else associated with performance enhancements. Have a new idea for performance/reliability? Post it here. No idea is stupid! (please use Detailing and Appearance for cosmetic ideas)

Rear rotor X-referencing...

Post by yourgrandma »

As you may or may not know, Ive been running brembo 4 piston first gen CTS-V calipers ibn front for a while. Ive also been sitting on the rears for almost as long. The hangups are as follows: firstly, I need to figure out which rotor Im going to use. This will determine what my caliper bracket will look like. BUT WAIT!!! In order to pick a rotor, I need to find out how much offset and diameter increase I n=can build into the bracket. Before I can do that I need to figure out what my wheels can handle. Also,I hate my wheels and want something else. :bluetwitch: :???:

So, im looking to find out what I can find for a rotor that has a 1.10" thickness, no park brake in the hat, a compatible bolt battern, similar offset to stock and about a 13" diameter.

WHat Im really looking for is a resource for looking up rotors by their specs and not by what model car they came on. :sucks:

+1.
But I found inconsistencies when I was looking, maybe user error. Look at the 13" F-body fronts, might be close to what you need.

Also it seems that some aftermarket fit multiple bolt patterns.

There is a gentlemen on Grandprix forums who made brackets for his GP GXP. He didnt mention which rear rotors he used but maybe he could point you in the right direction.

Grand Prix is quite a bit different in back but I almost wonder of I could go that route to get a parking brake.

Looks like a 99 svt cobra front rotor is going to be a pretty good place to start.
