Yes you do get some vibration with the mount, as well as more torque steer on hard take off's.

But, I am one of those guys who love it.

You can always try it and if you don't like it you can put the original design in. All it costs is some hockey pucks and some threaded rod.

jack car up, put jack stand under the engine/tranny and set jack back down... slightly.. enought to take tension off the mount... take off 3 bols on the mount, and 1 on the bottom, and remove all together

parts i picked up - pucks were $2.99 each and the bolt setup was $10

make a template to center your drill holes, however this is not really crucial

mark...

and drill...

put bolt thru

make sure everything is just as thick as the old mount

wrapped in electrical tape just for cosmetic
Image

attach bracket in reverse order

leftovers that i can return to home depot... so about a $13 mod

I have since upgraded to the 01bonneSC style mount, just because it looks neater.

It's ironic that I have to do something like this for my 2001 Bonny.
I've had to do something like this for my '63 Studebaker GT Hawk.
The original front mounts, while not liquid filled like the Bonny's, I kept destroying.
They were solid rubber, but with steel plates molded in on each end.
During hard launches, the driver's side front mount would torque so much that it would eventually tear the steel plate right off the rubber. To fix it, I had to do the same thing (kinda). I cut the mounting bolts off of a new mount, drilled a hole through the center, and ran a solid rod that I double nutted on both ends.
Hasn't been a problem now for going on 20+ years.

Whats the purpose of doing the solid motor mount?

With the stock front mount there is a lot of movement of the engine under harder acceleration. With that movement the mount can start to tear apart, and cause more movement. The idea with the solid mount is to eliminate that front-to-back movement, transferring more power to the wheels. IIRC it is thought that some exhaust leaks around the downpipe area can be created by the front-to-back torquing of the engine under hard acceleration, because it all moves together.

I did the mount last year and immediately afterwards I was not crazy about it. I noticed the vibrations right away and it didn't feel to 'pleasing.' But believe me, you'll get used to it and won't even notice anymore. It really isn't much of a vibration that you feel too much.
