96 bonneville ssei rear air shock compressor

Hi guys. Im new to this site. This is my second Bonneville i have owned and i love this car. I took my car in to get an alignment done and they couldn't do the rear tires. They said my shocks are bad. I have been looking in to this and found out that they are air shocks. I found where my compressor is and it doesn't seem to be working. I have hit the inflator button in the trunk and i hear a click but nothing happens. Any suggestions as to what is wrong.

I have a 95 and mine was not working, I took it out, took the motor apart and cleaned the armature contacts and carbon brushes and it started working. Test the armature with an ohmmeter from contact to contact. Mine beeps when its good. Hope it helps
