Monsoon specs

Post by BrianAbington »

I searched and searched and can't find my answer so if this has already been discussed please point me in the right direction.

I am trying to find the specs on the monsoon system in my '05 Bonneville GXP.

I'm wanting to know the power per channel from the amp in this system.

Thanks

I'll let someone else chime in to be sure but I thought I remember reading that power output was the same as BOSE but the speakers were different.

I could not find the specs anywhere. It is a unique unit because I am told that the radio provides a constant output to the amp, that is, unchanged by volume. And the amp controls the volume via the data bus from the radio. But is will still work fine if an aftermarket HU with its own volume control is used.
