Supercharger lag
I heard that you should not have any lag between the time the supercharger engages and the time your speed picks up, is that correct? I noticed that say if I push the peddle down a bit faster than normal and the needle hits 0 for boost the car seems to jerk as if shifting then starts to go faster and when I left go of the gas it also feels to down shift. Is this transmission? Or supercharger?

Re: Supercharger lag
There isn't (or shouldn't be) any lag at all with a belt driven supercharger like our cars have. It definitely sounds like your transmission is slipping to me. What does your tachometer say when you feel this? If the RPMs flutter with the jerk, it could be a misfire or something going on with the engine, but if the RPM's aren't jumping and you still feel a jerk it's probably the transmission. Most likely the PCS (pressure control solenoid) acting up.

Re: Supercharger lag
Ill check the rpms for the flutter tomorrow, pretty sure they dont change. Is the PCS a hard thing to fix?

Sorry I'm just now seeing this to reply.
The PCS really depends on how mechanically inclined you are. To change it, I believe you have to drop the cradle in order to pull the side pan off the transmission and gain access to the PCS. I think you usually have to remove the axles in that area to get the cover off, but I'm not sure.
An easier alternative is to get a transgo shift kit (intense racing sells them) as that will mask the symptoms of a failing PCS.
If you're wanting to get the PCS changed at a shop, I've heard it can run roughly 600+ paying someone to do it, hence why most opt for a shift kit instead.
