Edit: Please take all that plastic off of the engine, make a sled or some wall art or something, but I bet the 3.6 won't look too bad nekkid.

It's actually kinda ugly, the intake looks weird but yes I plan on taking all the plastic off. Also plan add a tune, intake spacer, ported tb, CAI, and an oil catch can.

Hopefully I have some time off this summer to come meet you and some Chicago people.

I hate the tires but they are brand new... Someday I will get new ones, wish I could roast them off.

Now ya see, I seem to have the opposite problem. It's too fun to resist though. Give a man 415hp with a 6 speed and an LSD, you get the idea. I have to make the PO's $1300 investment last though, as I can't afford new tires, Michelin or otherwise (probably will get Continentals when that time comes).

Beautiful car. Would really like to know the long-term reliability of one, as a CTS4 would be awesome in the snow up here, besides I like the gadgets and styling. Someone in my town has the identical car - beautiful color.

First thing I thought when I saw those tires were "Those gotta go"... But yea, kinda hard to dump a new set of tires even if you hate them.

Very nice Seth, just too bad I never took any pictures of our two GXPs together that night.
The color looks great, was that in east park?

GM refers that engine (3.6) as their "High Feature V6", but at the dealership it is referred to as the "High Failure V6", at least those that are installed in the Traverses.
Too many mile between oil changes kill the timing chains.
Waters pump and P/S pump failures are also common.

Beautiful. And as others have said, that is definitely the right colour.

If you were to remove all the plastic covers from the engine, would that increase NVH? Probably not my much, but its probably not the desired effect in a Cadillac.
