4T60-E oil pump cover

So I cracked my original oil pump, I think due to the fact that it wasn't properly seated. So I ordered another one and for the life of me I can't seem to get this one to sit flush on the oil pump shaft hole. Here is a video of what I am going through.. any thoughts?

Hard to see, but something on the pump is not right, the middle part (ring?) is sticking up too far. It looks like the center of the pump (the vane holder piece) is up-side down.

Matt you're right! The rotor was upside down. Got in out of town this evening, flipped it. Now it sits evenly and the shaft no longer binds!
