Some progress...

Post by RogueSSEi »

I mentioned about painting some GP wheels awhile back, after sand blasting them (which revealed many bad pit spots) sanding the lip with a greaseless 80,220, then 320 and hitting it with Mothers mag and aluminum polish the lip turned out pretty good. In the pics are of a wheel taped up and hit with Duplicolor black wheel paint. I've been at it since 7 this morning, I finally threw in the towel for today, but be back at it tomorrow, I dunno how convinced I am on the black though, but its on there now. I will post after pics. This is just a winter, throw on wheel set for the time being so I can get the 20's redone. The tires that I'm going to run is the Toyo Versado LX.
