Anyone know how to disable passlock 1 security system?

Measure the resistance on the passlock wires while the key is in the crank position then just install a resistor of that value between the two wires. Depending on the year and vehicle, some of them are timed and that wont work, only the real early ones didnt need any timing.

I dont think the 1996 had passlock, werent they still VATS?

Passlock1 = VATS. All the way up to 1999.

Why are you bypassing? What symptoms are you having?
2005 GXP - White Gold Pearl, no mods...yet.
