I've noticed an odd noise from the rear of my '01 ssei when slowing to a stop, especially when I first start driving in the morning. I can only describe it as a "pop-pop-pop" noise from the driver rear. My air shocks seem fine, I've had the wheels off and don't see anything noticeably wrong in the brakes or suspension, and I didn't think it's the fuel pump b/c I never have any hesitation in the engine.
I searched and don't see any similar posts...ideas?

Mine does the same exact thing. Like you said, especially when I first drive in the morning. To me it sounds like someone hammering a nail from 100ft away. It's done it since I bought the car 3 years ago. I had the rear air suspension replaced and I still hear the noise. I might hear it once or twice a week, if that.
