Subframe Bushings- latest ordering info please. No kit avail

Post by reb »

Sure, there are lots of posts in the archives but the last detailed parts numbers/ordering info is several years old.

AFAIK, there still is no kit availble- you have to buy each part individually off an internet retailer.

If a forum member has recently ordered the bushings/bolts/washers/retainers.

Could you please share the part numbers/prices and where you bought them.

Its kinda confusing to sort through the archive posts.

I'm tempted to go to the wrecker and see if a low mileage donor is available, that way I know all the parts are exactly right.

Thanks in advance......

Could you go to a dealership and have them look up the part# ?

I found these and they look similar...

A part # to varify would be nice.

If you want to take 1 out and get the dimensions... this place will have what you need and maybe something better.

Most of the online retailers do not have the retainer bolts in stock.

Shopgmparts.com appears to be the best source at this time for all the parts at a reasonable price.

I was able to use the Dorman "Kit" to replace the lower/upper insulators spacer and retainer in position #2 (center-rear). The kit is a steal @ $25.00 each kit. Purchased 2 kits to do the job and had a pair of lower insulators left over.

The included bolt is not the right size. The original bolt has been redesigned and has a new part #11561577, which I purchased at a local GM dealer.
