Radio says INOP.

Radio says INOP.

1997 Bonneville SE, Radio says INOP. Owners manual says this should reset in an hour with ignition on. Is this for one continuous hour. I thought it should have reset by now, but car doesn't usually get driven for an hour at a time. Any other way to reset this? I have the radio unlock code #, but can't get it off of INOP!
