Code 22 and code 23 car dies at idle

Code 22 and code 23 car dies at idle

i just changed the cps on my 89 and drove it for ten minutes. Let it idle in the driveway and it just shuts off? i checked for codes and it came up with 22 and 23 car will not start until it cools off, but temperature gauge is fine.

Did you make sure the new CPS is well aligned? I don't think the TPS or IAT signals are enough to make the car stall/not start.

Yeah its aligned. It wouldnt run right if it want right? I did some pretty aggressive driving after I installed it and it was fine. Its when I got back twice from driving it I sat in the car running for about 5 minutes and it just turns off. No rough idle or anything just out of the blue shuts off. Actually last night I was turning down my street off throttle before I had done the new cps and it died, luckily I coasted home :banana:
It has to be heat related.
