MAF Questions

I received a "Service Engine Soon" light today coming home from school. I stopped at Advanced Auto parts and got a scan. They told me it was the MAF sensor and that I should attempt to clean it. I saw your guide here, but I really have no idea where anything is without pictures. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
