Antifreeze behind front valve covers

I changed my valve cover gaskets today and found some antifreeze in the valley behind the valve covers. Does anyone have any idea of where it may have come from and what the problem might be?

You need to change your LIM gaskets ASAP. If you ignore it, it will eventually leak into the oil and possibly roach the main bearings.

That is exactly what mine did when my LIM gasket started to fail.

The pressure in the system pushes the coolant out through the failed gasket, and you can assume if it's collecting there, it could get in your oil. How does your oil look/smell? Take it for a drive and then pull the dipstick, if it's milky or smells sweet, there's coolant in it, and you need to drain the oil immediately and flush the motor with fresh oil. Either way, you need to get the lower intake manifold gaskets replaced immediately or you run the risk of engine death.
