well it's about time!

Post by shSSEi »

Finally got some recent pictures of the SSEi. Only changes since last time: new head unit, debadged and tweaked the tint on the tails. Had to get a new head unit because the stock one wouldn't play cds for me. Oh, I guess I did gut the air box, but thats not very evident in the pictures.

So anyway, on to the pictures!
I apologize for the quality of the pics. I was taking them with my old SLR which still uses film :btruestory: so when I scanned 'em onto the computer they didn't turn out as great as I'd hoped...

Looking good!!

Headlights need a little sandpaper and Plast-X love, though... :poke:

Car looks great! Makes me really want to tint the spare tail lights I got..which I will do, just need time..

Don't see those rims around on Bonnies much...must have only been a production model in 2000???

Beast has got a point! Those headlights could use some polish.
But nonetheless, car looks good! You have a nice stereo in there. :)

Thanks for all the comments everybody!

Beast, I'll have to get on that

The head unit is a Clarion CX501. I got about the cheapest, yet decent double-din unit I could find.

And about those wheels. As much as I like 'em, they are a PITA to clean!

I bet they are a bummer to clean...even my 5 spokes are a PITA when they go months with no attention...:-(

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I found a few tiny rust bubbles by the gas cap :angry7:
Not to mention the headliners gonna need some repair soon, if you catch my drift :banghead:

Very cool. Great that you are representing the old school cameras too. I held on to mine until the bitter end.
