Hey guys, for the past few months I've been noticing that it's wet in the trunk and the rear floorboard after it rains. I've checked the door seals and the trunk seals time and again to no avail. This happens when the car is sitting in the yard all by itself. A good shower of rain, and it's wet inside.
Finally I was talking to a guy at Advanced and he calmly said "It's your sunroof drains."
Well duh! But the headliner is bone dry.
So I've been looking here for tips, and I found this thread: http://www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/fo ... =43&t=1688
My ride is a 1995 SSE. And this thread is about a later model. Is it safe to assume that my setup is similar?
Thanks

Have you also checked the tail light seals and the antenna? Look very carefully for water stains or trails, it might help track the leak or leaks down.
These are other known areas that can leak into the trunk and then run down into the rear passenger area.

Your sunroof drains are easy to check. Open it in vent, and carefully pour water into the gutter channel. Watch the rear ends of the rocker moldings under the car for water leaking out. They drain through the c-pillars in back, a-pillars in front.
You have MANY other possibilities for leaks. Best method is to strip the trunk and fully dry it. That should take about 15 minutes. Then get a hose out, flood the car, and open it up for inspection.
