tow gone bad

Post by Mikeblo22 »

hello everyone,
I was getting my car towed on the 20th of may when the operater of the tow truck was wenching the car to the truck while my 1997 Pontiac Bonneville was hooked up to the truck. just about when he was finished the chain snapped and my car shot off the truck because it was on a 30 degree angle, and it bounced and was sent into a 2011 avalon. I have a list of problems that occurred as a result of the accident, I was wondering if there was anything that I should be looking for that I didn't notice. because it hit the ground so hard the front blinker lights actually popped out of the car. here is a list of what I am seeking damages for.
1.air bags need to be repaired.
2.alignment
3.wheel balance
4.2 front turn signals need to be replaced.
5. trunk will not open when using trunk opener from front door, and because I don't have a trunk key I cannot access anything in the trunk
6. frame needs to be looked at
7. rear passenger fender needs to be repaired
8. gas guage stopped functioning.

if there is something that could have happened and i don't know about it please let me know. thanks in advance.

Your car is totalled, they should be paying you around $2500 for a replacement.

Agreed. #1 and #7 alone would like mean the car is totalled.

The trunk symptom alone totalled your car. The subframe and unibody are both bent.

:stupid:

They'll pop the trunk open with a screwdriver so you can get your stuff out.
Bye Bye:

Their insurance should be handling all this.
