A/C question

i yanked the a/c unit off of my parts car to put it in the bonneville, i hooked it up and now the freeon is sraying everywhere autozone said that i had to have a special kind of nipple or bolt for it to quit sprayin....can someone please give me any hints or tips to resolve this problem
