Shimmy while braking...

Post by onesidered »

Hi Guys -

I just noticed while driving back from Las Vegas yesterday that my car shimmy's while braking at high speed. If you depress the brakes lightly - it seems to shake the steering wheel more than if you depress the brakes harder. And it doesn't seem noticeable at lower speeds.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like you have some warped brake rotors. Replacement is the only option to get rid of the shimmy.
Bye Bye:
