Occasional Engine Miss On Acceleration
Occasional Engine Miss On Acceleration
My '97 Bonneville has recently developed an occasional miss. Seems like it is only while accelerating, even slightly. We have had a lot of rain and the car has been sitting out. Thought at first it might be moisture somewhere or condensation in fuel. Tried some dry gas, but still doing it. It is not all the time, either. Sometimes worse than others. Plugs aren't even a year old. Thought maybe a wire, but wouldn't that be more constant? Check engine light has not come on---yet. Could the fuel pump be going bad? Any other suggestions?
Re: Occasional Engine Miss On Acceleration
How old are the wires and what brand are they?
Have you physically checked at least one plug, and what brand?
